I am a creative writer with a focus on literary fiction. My main
interests in my writing are the ways in which people rationalize their
behavior to themselves. I explore inner conflict and the expression of
said conflict in one’s life in characters of all ages. I take an organic
approach by simply letting them be. I delve into the mind of a
character and see if they can reach self understanding or instead
succumb to their own fears or ego.
I've completed my first children's novel A New Moon Rises. The story follows a girl who must save her sister from turning into gold. Will she pass the tests before the new moon rises? Hopefully this debut novel will be available for purchase soon!
My interests outside of reading and writing vary. I love Latin dance, foreign film (Especially Korean and Japanese), and the American pastime of baseball to name a few. There are so many diverse and creative outlets in the world and I try to sample as much of it as I can.
